What is clinical supervision?
Clinical supervision is a professional relationship where an experienced, qualified therapist supports your development as a practitioner. It's a space to discuss client cases, refine your clinical skills, navigate ethical challenges, and build confidence in your work.
In Canada, clinical supervision is often required to complete your registration or maintain your credentials with regulatory bodies like the CRPO or BCACC.
Who is clinical supervision for?
Clinical supervision is for therapists, counsellors, and social workers at various stages of their careers. If you're a qualifying or provisional practitioner working toward full registration, supervision is typically a requirement. But even fully licensed clinicians seek supervision to deepen their skills, explore new modalities, or get support with complex cases.
