Registered Psychotherapist

Meet Divya

I feel most confident working with supervisees who…
  • Are reflective, open to exploring their internal world, and interested in the relational and emotional layers of therapy. I particularly enjoy supporting clinicians who are navigating complex trauma work, attachment dynamics, or narcissistic abuse recovery in their clients

  • Are curious about integrating somatic awareness, systems thinking, and modalities like EFT, IFS, or family systems often find our work especially aligned. I also feel confident guiding those who are developing their voice, learning to set boundaries, or working through self-doubt as they step more fully into their clinical identity.

I stay energized and engaged in my therapy practice by…
  • Staying connected to what inspires me—both inside and outside the therapy room. I find a lot of meaning in deep, relational work and love supporting clients as they reconnect with themselves after trauma or difficult relationships.

  • Outside of sessions, painting, yoga, and solo travel help me recharge and stay creative. I’ve built a lifestyle that gives me space to reflect, move my body, and reconnect with joy—so I can show up fully present for the people I work with.

My supervision approach and style can be described as…
  • Relational, collaborative, and reflective. I aim to co-create a safe, grounded space where supervisees can explore both clinical questions and the personal dynamics that arise in therapeutic work.

  • My supervision is trauma-informed and attachment-based, drawing from Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Family Systems Theory. I support supervisees in developing their clinical intuition and confidence, particularly in areas such as trauma, narcissistic abuse recovery, relational dynamics, and mind-body integration.

  • My style balances clinical skill-building with deeper reflection on therapist identity, use of self, and the emotional impact of the work. I value self-trust, cultural humility, and curiosity, and encourage conversations that acknowledge both inner and systemic realities shaping the therapeutic space.
