Julie Sadhu
Julie Sadhu is a Registered Psychotherapist who believes therapy is not only for moments of crisis but also for personal growth, self-discovery, and creating meaningful change. With nearly two decades of experience working across diverse cultural and clinical settings, she brings a broad perspective and deep understanding of how differently people experience life's challenges. Julie takes an integrative and highly personalized approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities, client-centered therapy, and mindfulness practices to meet each client's unique needs. Her South Asian background gives her particular insight into cultural expectations, identity, and the barriers many people face when seeking support. Known for her warm, collaborative style, Julie strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood, connected, and empowered to better understand themselves and move forward with confidence.
- The weight youth and teens carry today: peer pressure, fitting in, bullying and cyberbullying, social anxiety, body image, and the heartbreak of early relationships.
- Teens asserting independence while processing big emotions, and the families supporting them through differing opinions, defiance, and overwhelm.
- Everyday family dynamics, including separation, divorce, financial stress, blending with new partners, and sibling friction after a new baby arrives.
- Adult mental health and life transitions: anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, later-in-life neurodivergent diagnoses like ADHD, and career burnout that erodes self-esteem.
- Translating behavioural health research into practical, compassionate care for adults, teens, and families who are hurting.
- South Asian, which gives me a lived appreciation for the intergenerational dynamics, unspoken expectations, and identity gaps that individuals face in our community.

Booking FAQ
First Session charges each session directly to your credit card. Once each session occurs, and your card is charged, you will receive a PDF receipt to your email with all of the details you will need to get reimbursed (therapist name, license/designation, license number, address, etc). You can then submit the receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have coverage.
We always recommend you check with your insurance provider to confirm what coverage you have.
You are the expert when it comes to knowing who is the right fit. Ensure you’ve watched the therapist video at the top of their profile and see if you get a good feeling from the message and the energy they are putting out. If you feel drawn to speak with them, listen to your gut! Booking a free consultation is a great first step to asses fit.
