Tanya Lerra
Tanya Lerra is a Registered Social Worker who takes a holistic, client-centered approach focused on the mind–body connection and nervous system awareness. She believes many struggles stem from unmet safety needs and that understanding physiological responses can reduce shame and fear. Guided by deep respect for each person’s pursuit of wellbeing, Tanya helps clients slow down, cultivate curiosity, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Clients can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where emotional and psychological safety are prioritized. She has a special interest in anxiety, survival responses, and helping clients move out of fight-or-flight into growth and self-understanding. Tanya warmly invites you to explore therapy as a place where you can share your truth without guilt or shame.
- Living through life transitions and periods of stress, anxiety, depression and grief.
- How past and present relationships and attachment patterns shape and influence us.
- Importance of mind-body connection and integration of all parts.
- Italian-Canadian.
- Rooted in a family who immigrated with very little, and built everything through dedication and sacrifice. This shaped my appreciation for work ethic and resilience, while also deepening my awareness of how cultural and societal expectations, norms and pressures influence mental health and continue to shape our daily lives.

Booking FAQ
First Session charges each session directly to your credit card. Once each session occurs, and your card is charged, you will receive a PDF receipt to your email with all of the details you will need to get reimbursed (therapist name, license/designation, license number, address, etc). You can then submit the receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have coverage.
We always recommend you check with your insurance provider to confirm what coverage you have.
You are the expert when it comes to knowing who is the right fit. Ensure you’ve watched the therapist video at the top of their profile and see if you get a good feeling from the message and the energy they are putting out. If you feel drawn to speak with them, listen to your gut! Booking a free consultation is a great first step to asses fit.
