Meet Ratiba

Ratiba Yasin is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who offers an integrative and client-centered approach to supporting mental health. She believes therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and creates a safe, culturally attuned, and trauma-informed space where clients can feel fully heard and accepted. Through her lived experiences, she understands the challenges of identity, belonging, and life transitions, allowing her to connect deeply with clients. In therapy, clients can expect warmth, respect, and non-judgment as they explore their stories. She has a special interest in bridging the mind-body connection and supporting women through motherhood. Ratiba invites clients to see therapy as a courageous step toward healing and growth.

Booking FAQ

Does Ratiba offer direct billing with my insurance? Or how does payment work?

First Session charges each session directly to your credit card. Once each session occurs, and your card is charged, you will receive a PDF receipt to your email with all of the details you will need to get reimbursed (therapist name, license/designation, license number, address, etc). You can then submit the receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement.

How do I know if Ratiba is a good fit?

You are the expert when it comes to knowing who is the right fit. Ensure you’ve watched the therapist video at the top of their profile and see if you get a good feeling from the message and the energy they are putting out. If you feel drawn to speak with them, listen to your gut! Booking a free consultation is a great first step to asses fit.
