Meet Natalie

Natalie Saroya is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who brings a compassionate, relatable approach shaped by both lived experience and clinical training. Growing up in an immigrant household where mental health was often unspoken, she understands the impact of suppressing emotions and the importance of having a safe space to explore them. Natalie offers a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients can share openly and begin to make sense of their experiences. Her work focuses on identifying patterns, building self-awareness, and navigating challenges such as burnout, relationships, and life transitions. She takes a flexible, client-centered approach, tailoring each session to feel collaborative, conversational, and aligned with your needs.

My experiences and interests give me a unique understanding of…
  • What it’s like to deal with family conflict and unlearn dysfunctional communication styles, coping strategies, and conflict resolution patterns.
  • What it’s like to struggle with and recover from relationship breakdown / divorce.
  • What it’s like to experience the crippling weight and isolation associated with postpartum anxiety and depression.
  • What it’s like to appear successful and high functioning, but feel anxious and overwhelmed on the inside.
  • What it’s like to navigate and thrive despite challenging workplace politics.
  • What it’s like to experience and adapt to significant identity shifts (e.g. starting a new career, becoming a parent).
  • What it’s like to be raised in a biracial family and struggle with conflicting expectations, cultural beliefs, and values.
  • What it’s like to grow up as a South Asian (visible minority) in a predominantly white community.
  • What it’s like when cultural norms based on achievement and obedience give you an unhealthy relationship with self-worth.
My cultural or ancestral background is…
  • South Asian
  • Portuguese

Booking FAQ

Does Natalie offer direct billing with my insurance? Or how does payment work?

First Session charges each session directly to your credit card. Once each session occurs, and your card is charged, you will receive a PDF receipt to your email with all of the details you will need to get reimbursed (therapist name, license/designation, license number, address, etc). You can then submit the receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have coverage.

We always recommend you check with your insurance provider to confirm what coverage you have.

How do I know if Natalie is a good fit?

You are the expert when it comes to knowing who is the right fit. Ensure you’ve watched the therapist video at the top of their profile and see if you get a good feeling from the message and the energy they are putting out. If you feel drawn to speak with them, listen to your gut! Booking a free consultation is a great first step to asses fit.
