Meet Ghazal

Ghazal Ghoddousi is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who supports clients facing anxiety, past wounds, and relational stress with warmth, compassion, and acceptance. She believes healing begins in a therapeutic relationship when we feel safe enough to approach our pain instead of running from it. As a first-generation immigrant, her lived experiences shape a practice grounded in honoring each client’s unique identity, voice, and context. In sessions, clients lead the way, and Ghazal walks beside them with a flashlight and helps them gently explore what’s been left in the dark.   She hopes clients will gradually take that flashlight into their own hands and become their own therapists, able to understand how they got here and where they want to go. If you’re ready to begin your journey, Gazelle invites you to take the first step.

My experiences and interests give me a unique understanding of…
  • The challenge of navigating life's ups and downs.
  • The ongoing effort to hold onto balance and inner peace.
  • What it’s like to carry quiet emotional pain while appearing strong on the outside.
  • The value of having a space to slow down, feel genuinely seen, and reconnect with one's true self.
  • How relationships—with oneself and others—can deeply influence healing and personal growth.
My cultural or ancestral background is…
  • Persian/Iranian, and as a first-generation Canadian, I embrace the richness of both cultures. This background gives me a deep appreciation for the importance of understanding each person’s unique context, life experiences, and worldview, as well as how cultural expectations can impact one’s sense of self, belonging, and the possibilities they see for their life.
My clients describe me using words like…
  • Attentive
  • Compassionate
  • Understanding
  • Thoughtful
