Meet Flip
My experiences and interests give me a unique understanding of…
What it feels like to start over. I've moved around my whole life, from the Cayman Islands to New York City, then boarding school, the East Coast, and back to Ontario.
Along the way I've been exposed to many cultures and people, and I know firsthand how disorienting transitions can be and how much they shape who we are.
I've also navigated chronic illness, significant anxiety and ADHD in my own life, so I understand how these experiences can affect your energy, focus and sense of self. That's a big part of why my work centres on identity, self-worth, self-esteem and anxiety.
Outside the therapy space, you can find me on a beach, with a book, or doing something spontaneous.

My clients often self-identify as…
Adults (18–70) navigating big transitions, grief, anxiety or depression.
People living with chronic illness.
High achievers who tend to put themselves last.
I’m the right therapist for you if…
You want someone real who'll laugh with you and also call you out (kindly) when needed.
You might be going through a big change, feel stuck in anxiety or self-doubt, or be tired of always putting yourself last.
You want practical tools you can actually use, not just talking in circles, and a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
Therapeutic Frameworks & Approach

If we work together you can expect to feel…
Safe, heard and genuinely understood. I want our sessions to feel like a real conversation, not a clinical checklist, so there's room for honesty, humour and the messy stuff in between.
Supported without being judged, and challenged when it'll help you grow.
Over time, I hope you'll leave feeling lighter, more confident in who you are, and equipped with tools that actually work for your life.

During your free consultation, we’ll go over…
What's bringing you to therapy right now and what you're hoping to get out of it.
Anything about how I work, my approach, or what sessions look like, and I'll share a bit about how I might support you.
If we are a good fit and if this feels right for you.
If we work together you can expect me to…
Meet you where you're at, follow your pace, and be honest with you, even when it's not the easiest thing to hear.
Give you practical tools you can use between sessions.
Work together with you toward understanding your patterns, and making changes that actually stick.

Booking FAQ
Does Flip offer direct billing with my insurance? Or how does payment work?
First Session charges each session directly to your credit card. Once each session occurs and your card is charged, you’ll receive a PDF receipt by email with all the details you need to get reimbursed (therapist name, designation, license number, address, etc.). You can then submit the receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have coverage. We always recommend checking your coverage with your provider before booking.
How do I know if Flip is a good fit?
You are the expert when it comes to knowing who’s the right fit. Watch the therapist’s video at the top of their profile and see whether the message and energy resonate. If you feel drawn to speak with them, listen to your gut — booking a free consultation is a great first step to assess fit.
What if I see no available times to book a session?
If the therapist is listed as accepting clients and you see no available times, it’s likely they haven’t updated their availability (sorry about that!). In this case, you can to see what times they have available.
Can I contact Flip before booking an appointment?
If you still have questions before booking that can’t be answered during your free consultation, you can .
