Shannon Pintwala is a trained End-of-Life Doula, a Director-at-Large with the BC Hospice and Palliative Care Association, and a volunteer with BC Cancer. A mother of two, she came to this work after the early passing of her father from a terminal illness—an experience that reshaped her understanding of care, dignity, and presence at the end of life. Leaving a career in the corporate world, Shannon dedicated herself to supporting individuals and families during life’s final chapter.
Today, she offers grief and caregiver support, end-of-life planning, and guidance for those navigating Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). Shannon’s approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and clear communication. She meets people exactly where they are, helping them move through one of life’s most profound transitions with steadiness and care.
