Margaret Hux
Before becoming a therapist, Marg worked in a challenging and stressful corporate environment for 30 years and raised a daughter. During this time, she became increasingly interested and trained in stress management using somatic methods and in her own spiritual practice and this led to formal therapy training. Marg believes in considering mind, body and emotions in the healing journey as well as a spiritual element depending on the clients comfort and understandings.
- Life and career challenges: with over a 30-year business career, I learned to manage job challenges, changes, and find life balance to also be a mother and have an active family life.
- How to handle my own stress and support others around me: I learned and trained in a body-mind method (tapping, emotional freedom therapy) and also completed training to take this deeper as a full trauma treatment. I have written more about these somatic approaches here.
- Connect with self: In my spiritual path and training I've learned to connect with my own higher self, to hold positive thoughts, emotions and energy for myself, friends, family and clients.
- Finding a way forward; my path has been one of finding my way forward through some big life changes, and losses while honouring the past and also looking forward.

You can then submit the receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement.
You are the expert when it comes to knowing who is the right fit. Ensure you’ve watched the therapist video at the top of their profile and see if you get a good feeling from the message and the energy they are putting out. If you feel drawn to speak with them, listen to your gut! Booking a free consultation is a great first step to asses fit.
