- Integrating faith and mental health — I know how powerful it can be to seek healing through both spiritual and practical paths, as someone whose faith is a cornerstone of my life.
- The emotional toll of work stress and burnout, and how hard it is to stay true to yourself while balancing responsibilities.
- Navigating family and relationship challenges, including single parenting and managing complex dynamics
- What it means to feel unseen or misunderstood, especially if you’re part of the 2SLGBTQI+ or BIPOC community, and how vital it is to create safe, affirming spaces
- The power of resilience, hope, and walking alongside others on their journey toward growth and healing
- Rooted in African Canadian/American traditions, where community, family, and respect for elders are deeply valued. This taught me the importance of resilience, connection, and collective well-being.
- A key influence on my therapeutic approach: I prioritize creating a sense of belonging and honoring the role cultural values play in the healing process
