Fawn MacInnis
Fawn has always had a passion for helping people, and many of her clients struggle with grief, loss, and trauma. Fawn likes to think of herself as a heart with ears, someone who listens with compassion and empathy, and offers different perspectives. She encourages her clients to develop self-compassion and grace, because perfection is unattainable. When she isn't working, Fawn enjoys working on Lego kits to decompress.
- The challenges of living and working in small communities – I understand the complexities of maintaining privacy, setting boundaries, and navigating close-knit relationships.
- Generational cycles of trauma, addiction, and workaholism – Having witnessed and reflected on these patterns, I know how deeply they shape identity, relationships, and self-worth.
- The power of resilience and self-discovery – I believe in the strength of the human spirit and the possibility of healing, no matter how long you've carried your burdens.
- The importance of culturally responsive care – Particularly in working with rural Indigenous communities, I recognize the need for respect, understanding, and an approach that honours traditions and spiritual beliefs.
- The emotional weight of caregiving – Whether you're a professional, a family caregiver, or supporting a loved one at the end of life, I understand the exhaustion, love, and grief that come with it.
- The need for setting boundaries and prioritizing self-care – Especially for those in helping roles, learning to balance giving to others while protecting your own well-being is essential.

You are the expert when it comes to knowing who is the right fit. Ensure you’ve watched the therapist video at the top of their profile and see if you get a good feeling from the message and the energy they are putting out. If you feel drawn to speak with them, listen to your gut! Booking a free consultation is a great first step to asses fit.
