Meet Calum

Calum Ramsay is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who uses an integrative and experiential approach, drawing from narrative therapy and emotion-focused therapy. He believes therapy is a space to reframe our inner narratives, explore emotional patterns, and build self-compassion. With a background in engineering and high-performance sports, Calum brings a unique, grounded perspective to mental health care. Clients often say they feel understood, especially those who were previously skeptical about therapy or struggled to find the right fit. He has a special interest in self-esteem, identity, and helping people navigate internal conflict or life transitions. Calum welcomes you to connect—on your terms, at your pace—when you're ready to explore what change could look like.

My experiences and interests give me a unique understanding of…
  • How hard it can be to keep going when life feels heavy or uncertain
  • What it’s like to be in environments where you’re expected to stay strong, even when things feel hard
  • The quiet toll of always taking care of others, while putting your own needs on hold
  • How stress and anxiety can slowly build up and affect everything — sleep, relationships, focus, self-worth
  • Life transitions like becoming a parent, shifting careers, or adjusting to something you didn’t choose
  • What it’s like to experience the world with a brain that works a little differently — and how that can be both challenging and a strength
  • The healing power of time outdoors, meaningful conversations, and feeling truly understood
  • The emotional ups and downs that can come with sport, especially around injury, performance, and identity
