Kristin Michie
Kristin Michie is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who takes an integrative approach, tailoring each session to meet her clients’ unique needs. She believes therapy is not about “fixing” anyone but about creating a safe, trusting space to explore patterns, build awareness, and support meaningful change. Drawing from her own lived experiences with anxiety and depression, Kristin brings empathy, authenticity, and understanding to her work. Clients often leave sessions with greater clarity, self-acceptance, and tools to move forward with confidence. She has a special interest in helping individuals explore the roots of their patterns through a psychodynamic lens while staying focused on present-day growth. Kristin invites you to reach out and take the first step toward feeling seen, supported, and empowered.
- What it feels like to live with anxiety as a constant companion, and how overwhelming it can be when life doesn’t go as planned.
- My own experience with infertility brought waves of grief, loss, anger, and depression, which are emotions that many people also face through other challenges and transitions. These experiences give me a deep empathy for clients who are experiencing their own unique obstacles.
- Northern European and I am a third-generation Canadian. My identity has been shaped as much by the Canadian values of diversity, openness, and resilience as by my ancestry.

- Many are exploring questions of identity, navigating life transitions, or working through challenges around family and cultural acceptance.

You are the expert when it comes to knowing who is the right fit. Ensure you’ve watched the therapist video at the top of their profile and see if you get a good feeling from the message and the energy they are putting out.
