Meet Jasmine

Jasmine Chadha supports adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence and questions of identity. Drawing on acceptance and commitment therapy and EMDR, she adapts her approach to each client’s needs and builds a plan collaboratively. Her experience growing up in a South Asian family and supporting a brother with cerebral palsy informs her understanding of stigma, family responsibilities and the challenges of seeking help. Jasmine places trust and connection at the centre of therapy, offering a warm, non-judgmental space to explore difficult feelings, question learned expectations and reconnect with personal values. She welcomes clients as they are and supports them in making room for themselves and the life they want to live.

My experiences and interests give me a unique understanding of…
  • The quiet weight of log kya kahenge — “what will people say” — and the expectations that can come with growing up in a South Asian, Punjabi family.
  • How deeply families can love one another while still struggling to talk openly about feelings, needs, and emotional experiences.
  • The ways that one generation’s expectations, silences, and survival patterns can be passed down to the next.
  • What it can feel like to be caught between honouring your family and honouring yourself.
  • The experience of repeating family patterns you promised yourself you would leave behind, and the difficulty of knowing how to break those cycles.
  • Much of my work involves helping you trace where these patterns began, understand how they have shaped you, and decide what you want to carry forward — and what you are ready to leave behind.
My cultural or ancestral background is…
  • South Asian, of Punjabi heritage. I bring a lived understanding of intergenerational family dynamics, cultural expectations, and what it means to bridge traditional and Western worlds. I offer therapy in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, so clients can speak in whichever language their heart moves in.
My clients describe me using words like…
  • Warm
  • Grounding
  • Non-judgmental
  • Easy to talk to
  • Culturally attuned
  • Calm and safe
  • Gentle but honest
  • Deeply present and real

Booking FAQ

Does Jasmine offer direct billing with my insurance? Or how does payment work?

First Session charges each session directly to your credit card. Once each session occurs, and your card is charged, you will receive a PDF receipt to your email with all of the details you will need to get reimbursed (therapist name, license/designation, license number, address, etc). You can then submit the receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have coverage.

We always recommend you check with your insurance provider to confirm what coverage you have.

How do I know if Jasmine is a good fit?

You are the expert when it comes to knowing who is the right fit. Ensure you’ve watched the therapist video at the top of their profile and see if you get a good feeling from the message and the energy they are putting out. If you feel drawn to speak with them, listen to your gut! Booking a free consultation is a great first step to asses fit.
