Matt works with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, insomnia and burnout. Matt likes to say that emotions feed themselves. Depression tells us to isolate, which leads to more depression. Anxiety tells us to be afraid and stay away, which leads to more anxiety. But he helps his clients assess whether other behaviour might be more appropriate. Matt tries to balance validating his client's emotions and experiences with equipping them with skills to cope with challenges on their own.
